NEESHA’S NOTES:

You will not need to educate them on the importance of regenerative agriculture or nutrient density of food -- it is apparent from their funding choices that they are already enlightened grantmakers.

You will only need to convince them why your value proposition represents a systems-level shift that will deliver exponential impact.

NOTE TO GRANTMAKERS

Though the Gaia Fund is committed to Jewish Life (largest grant in 2019 for $1,000,000 was for the capital campaign of Congregation Emanu-El), the gifts the fund has made to regenerative systems have certainly made a difference even though they are smaller (less than $200,000). If every foundation earmarked a small amount toward a climate change fund, it would be transformational!
